For those who want to get acquainted not only in theory, but also in practice with the secrets of spiritual life, and would like to try out what life is like in a religious community based on the Eastern tradition, we offer different forms of training both in Budapest and in Krishna Valley.
Spiritual life is not just about the philosophy or a belief, but it’s an experience, a spiritual realization. We welcome on our trainings those, who want to progress on the path of self-realization, and want to gain life-long spiritual experiences.
In the Kṛṣṇa-Conscious centers, there are a regular education based on the wisdom of the Vedic scriptures, from these centers, the center in Csillaghegy stands out. In addition to the spiritual education, we put great emphasis on the health education.
Our college, Bhaktivedanta Theological College, offers an accredited, state-recognized bachelor’s degree in yoga and theology (basic and master’s degree), and in the temple building, you have the opportunity to learn about the ethical principles and practices of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, through philosophical lectures, open weekends and boarding-educational programs.
We organize our Self-Knowledge Camps for those who want to learn the knacks of the Kṛṣṇa-conscious lifestyle, and have a deep desire to get to know Vedic philosophy comprehensively and put it into practice. In order to live a truly happy life, it is essential to know and understand ourselves – the elements of the tangible world alone do not nourish the soul, and do not delight the heart.
For the children of the Kṛṣṇa-conscious families, our church operates a primary school (gurukula) based on the Vedic system. Sri Prahlada Primary School provides state-recognized training for the youngest Kṛṣṇa believers, and the National Core Curriculum can be mastered by children according to the vaiṣṇava views.
At the Bhaktivedanta College, we advertise admission to 2 state-accredited courses, Vaisnava Yoga Master and Vaisnava Theology each year, full-time and part-time (Saturday education) are available.
