Mayapur
Mayapur is the birthplace of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the most gracious incarnation of Krishna. It is a beautiful, prosperous holy place in India, where the effulgent Temple of the Vedic Planetarium is being built along the holy Ganges River, with its enchanting holy sites, it is the flourishing spiritual city of ISKCON, and thus is becoming the heart of this world-famous culture. Bhakti-yoga practitioners in Hungary also visit Mayapur regularly, in the state of West Bengal in India, which is located 130 kilometers north of the bustling city of Calcutta.
